Ten days from now we will be hearing from our Morning Keynote speaker Dave Troy.   Make sure to arrive early as you don’t want to miss this technology entrepreneur and one of the principal players working to bring Google’s planned fiber optic network to Baltimore.  Dave will map out his PR plan for luring Google to Baltimore as well as share his messaging, social media, and buzz strategies that made his message soar.  He’ll reveal how the plan is progressing, lessons he learned, why Baltimore is a good fit, and when the city will know Google’s decision.  Don’t miss this provocative presentation.

Dave Troy is one of the principal players working to bring Google’s planned fiber optic network to Baltimore. He is a leader and veteran of the Baltimore technology community, serving on numerous boards, including the Greater Baltimore Technology Council and the Chesapeake Regional Technology Council.

Dave is an entrepreneur, software developer, and community builder in Baltimore.  He is the founder of TEDxMidatlantic, a regional conference celebrating the power of ideas to transform society.  The first TEDxMidAtlantic event was held in Baltimore in November 2009 and featured over 20 speakers and 600 attendees.  He is also the founder of Baltimore Angels (an angel investment group) and Beehive Baltimore (a co-working community and workplace).
